About The Role
We are seeking a skilled .NET Backend Developer to contribute to the design, development, and
integration of scalable, secure APIs and backend services for our financial platforms, including capital
markets, trading systems, and depository services.
The role demands hands-on experience in building .NET-based RESTful APIs and integrating them
with API Gateway solutions while adhering to high performance, security, and governance
standards. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver modern, enterprise-grade
backend solutions aligned with industry and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable REST APIs using .NET Core.
● Integrate and configure APIs with API Gateways including routing, transformations,
authentication (OAuth2, JWT, API Key), and caching.
● Work on database modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
● Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and API
deployment strategies.
● Support API versioning, payload transformation, and exception handling.
● Contribute to unit and integration testing; participate in code reviews to ensure code
quality.
● Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions.
● Maintain clear and complete documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
● Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively with QA and DevOps teams.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B. Tech) in Computer Science or equivalent from reputed
institute
Experience:
● 2 to 3 years of proven experience in software development, including hands-on experience
in large scale product / platform development
● Financial services industry experience or familiarity with the stock exchange/depository
domain will be an added advantage.

● Strong experience in building and integrating .NET/.NET Core RESTful APIs with API
Gateway solutions (e.g., APISIX, Nginx, Kong etc) including routing, authentication, and
transformation logic.
● Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, and SQL Server (or other RDBMS
like MySQL/PostgreSQL) for scalable backend development.
● Familiarity with API security protocols such as OAuth2, JWT, and API Key-based access
control.
● Understanding of capital markets workflows and basic knowledge of financial products like
equities, derivatives, and fixed income instruments is an advantage.
● Working knowledge of front-end integration using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks
such as Angular or React (preferred).
● Experience in unit testing, TDD, and debugging complex systems.
● Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and API
documentation standards (OpenAPI/Swagger).
● Competence in Agile delivery environments, using tools like Jira and Confluence for sprint-
based execution.
