About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in .NET and React JS development to join our Capital Markets technology team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building enterprise applications and a strong understanding of capital market workflows, trading systems, and financial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using .NET technologies and React JS.
- Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces for trading and post-trade applications.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core/Web API.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand functional requirements.
- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
- Perform unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Contribute to code reviews and continuously improve application performance and security.
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in sprint ceremonies.
Technical Skills Required
Backend
- Strong experience in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core/.NET 6+
- Experience developing REST APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API
- Understanding of Entity Framework/Entity Framework Core
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and multithreading concepts
- Familiarity with dependency injection and design patterns
Frontend
- Hands-on experience with React JS
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with React Hooks, Context API, and state management libraries
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs
- Knowledge of responsive UI development principles
Database
- Strong SQL skills with experience in Microsoft SQL Server
- Ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance
Tools & Technologies
- Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps for source control
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments is an advantage
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred
Capital Market Domain Knowledge (Preferred)
- Understanding of capital market concepts such as Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, or Commodities.
- Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes including order management, execution, allocation, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Exposure to OMS, RMS, Market Data, ICMS, Market Replay, or Exchange connectivity solutions will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of exchange regulations and financial messaging standards is desirable.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
