AI/ML Tech Lead

We are looking for a highly capable AI/ML Lead to anchor our AI practice in Bengaluru. This is a client-facing technical leadership role that demands strong solution architecting capabilities, delivery ownership, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions. The ideal candidate must be comfortable engaging directly with clients, understanding complex business problems, designing AI/ML solution architectures, and owning the end-to-end delivery lifecycle — from discovery to production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

● Act as the primary technical interface for clients, engaging in requirement discussions and solution workshops.

● Understand end-to-end business requirements and convert them into scalable AI/ML architectures.

● Provide clear, structured, and practical solution proposals aligned with client objectives.

● Lead technical presentations, solution walkthroughs, and architecture discussions with stakeholders.

● Build trust as a strategic advisor for AI/ML transformation initiatives. Solution Architecture & Design

● Design robust, scalable, and production-ready AI/ML systems.

● Architect end-to-end ML workflows including data ingestion, feature engineering, model development, deployment, and monitoring.

● Ensure best practices in model governance, MLOps, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.

● Drive architectural decisions aligned with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

● Own complete delivery lifecycle — from project initiation to successful deployment.

● Act as Delivery Incharge ensuring timelines, quality standards, and client satisfaction.

● Manage cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers).

● Track project milestones, manage risks, and ensure execution excellence.

● Ensure high-quality documentation and smooth handover to support teams.

● Collaborate with Sales and Business teams during pre-sales cycles.

● Contribute to RFP responses, technical proposals, and effort estimations.

● Develop solution accelerators, reusable frameworks, and case studies.

● Support capability presentations during client pitches.

● 4 - 6 years of overall experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or advanced analytics.

● Strong hands-on experience in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).

● Proven expertise in designing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.

● Deep understanding of ML architecture patterns, MLOps pipelines, and scalable cloud deployments.

● Experience working with AWS/Azure/GCP AI services.

● Strong problem-solving, architectural thinking, and system design capabilities.

● Prior experience leading and mentoring technical teams.

● Excellent communication skills with mandatory client-facing experience.

● Experience working on AI/ML use cases in the Retail domain, such as:

○ Demand forecasting

○ Customer segmentation

○ Recommendation systems

○ Inventory optimization

○ Pricing analytics

● Pre-sales experience in solution consulting environments.

● Experience building reusable AI accelerators or frameworks.

● Relevant cloud or ML certifications.
