About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in GoLang and SQL to build and scale high-performance, high-throughput backend systems. The role involves designing robust APIs, optimizing database performance, and contributing to the architecture of backend services that operate at scale.
You will work closely with product, frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using GoLang
- Build backend services optimized for high concurrency and throughput (HPC use cases)
- Design and optimize relational database schemas using MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform query optimization
- Implement secure integrations with third-party services and internal systems
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through best practices and reviews
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and participate in debugging production issues
- Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, and QA teams for smooth releases and deployments
- Contribute to technical decisions, architecture discussions, and performance improvements
Primary Skills
- GoLang (Golang) – strong hands-on experience in backend development
- SQL / Relational Databases – MySQL or PostgreSQL
- REST API Design & Development
- Performance Optimization for high-load backend systems
Secondary Skills
- JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, and secure data transmission
- Authentication & authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, HMAC)
- Git-based version control and collaborative workflows
- CI/CD pipelines and build automation
- Docker and containerized deployments
- Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience with Go frameworks such as Gin, Echo, or Fiber
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Understanding of concurrency patterns in Go (goroutines, channels, sync primitives)
- Experience working on HPC, low-latency, or high-volume transaction systems
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools
